‘Last of our Kind‘ has tribal rhythm, atmospheric vocals and wailing guitars that show the future of rock is alive and well. For such a young band – no only in years but in terms of being on the music scene, FAERS have a well carved and developed sound that’s on point with the current psychedelic rock revival. FAERS marries this with an indie edge and the blend is a sound all their own. It’s a sound you can expect to hear a lot more of this year and in 2018.
The band headed to Gothenburg, Sweden to record their single with producer Anders Lagersford. The record is self-released (yes, hard to believe they’re unsigned) and has received staunch radio support has come from John Kennedy at Radio X and Gary Crowley on BBC Introducing.
Last of our Kind is available now on iTunes.
The bands debut EP ‘Waves‘, which is does not include Last of our Kind is also available on iTunes.
Take a listen to ‘Last of our Kind’ below, which is one of our Must Stream tracks.
FAERS play Hackney Wonderland on October 14th.
