Michael Head is one of the most respected and accomplished songwriters of his generation as well as the founder of The Pale Fountains, Shack, and most recently The Red Elastic Band. He has announced a show this Saturday 12th August at Liverpool’s Florrie Institute where he will be joined on stage by upcoming local musicians from Liverpool bands Sugarmen and The Shipbuilders.

The evening show is part of Florrie Festival Uno, which opens at 12 noon and features a range of family friendly activities including market stalls, a fun fair, and The Observatory Sessions featuring Michael Head and his musical guests performing acoustic sessions in The Florrie’s iconic Observation Tower.

The Florrie is located at  377 Mill Street, Liverpool, L8 4RF. Tickets for the evening show can be bought in person at the Florrie reception or by phone: 0151 728 2323.

Head’s lastest single with The Red Elastic Band, ‘Josephine’ is available on digital download and precedes the release of his first album in over decade, the highly anticipated ‘Adiós Señor Pussycat‘.
